Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
by John Herbert | Director
Dynamic airflow analysis is possible using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools. It is a valuable tool helping assess complex airflow challenges in the build environment.

Airflow Dynamics
This technique can be used to optimise, and tune design
solutions before concrete is poured.
Also airflow dynamics analysis is used to help analyse complex problems within
existing facilities, and validate remedial work solutions before commencing
work.

Using CFD enables Kelcroft to conduct scientific simulations for the built
environment, it is used to model the behaviour of pollutants,
predict air velocity, temperature, humidity and environmental
comfort within a space. The resultant analysis, a 3D graphical view of airflow
solutions.
